Tution Fees

Monthly Tuition & Fees

Tuition represents the largest source of income for Little Elephant, and we rely on these fees to assure that we can provide quality early education and care for your child at the most affordable rates possible. Since full and timely payment of tuition is critical to our ability to maintain our operation, we would like to outline our policies and procedures regarding the payment of fees to Little Elephant as follows:

 Registration Fee: $70 (due at the time of registration)

 Full-time tuition for families enrolling for the 2022-2023 school year:

All tuition payments are due on the first day of each month. We ask that each family choose carefully and give at least 30 days’ notice if they need to make changes. Payment is due in advance on the first business day of each month. There are no deductions from the monthly tuition amount for absences, family vacations, holidays, or closures due to inclement weather, power outages, or other situations beyond the school’s control. Payment is due as outlined in the child’s enrollment form.

Late Payment: Tuition payments are due on the first business day of each month. If payment is not received on the day that it is due, a late fee will be added to the account. If your account has not been paid in full within 5 business days, your child may not attend school until the account has been brought current. After 15 days of nonpayment, enrollment may be forfeited. The school retains the right to take measures to collect unpaid balances either through small claims or collections. If these measures become necessary, the family is responsible for all expenses associated with those actions.

Late Pick-Up: Late pick-up can negatively impact children and make it difficult to maintain legal teacher-to-child ratios. Being late for pick-up or otherwise keeping the teachers at work beyond work hours can affect their personal lives and the energy they spend caring for your child each day.

The school day is 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. We realize that emergencies happen and that in the case of an emergency, late pick-up may be necessary. If you realize you are unable to pick up your child by 5:00 pm, please let the school know prior. The school will keep a record of late pickup and will contact you via email regarding the fee that is owed to the school.

Please note that you are expected to plan the pick-up of your child. It is important that teachers get off work at their scheduled time.

Withdrawal

If a family decides to withdraw from the school for any reason, 30 days written notice is required. All tuition and fees owed to the school during the 30 days following the date of the written notice must be paid whether or not the child attends school.
